Abstract

PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is one of the First Movers on Sustainable Finance committed to green banking. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) uses a variety of sustainability practices to promote a low-carbon economy in the future, including economic, social, and environmental factors. The purpose of this paper is to investigate how the Green Coin Rating (GCR) indicator is used in the PT BCA green banking program from 2021 to 2023. The writing approach employed is descriptive analysis, utilizing data gathering strategies such as literature and documentation examination. The data sources used were secondary data from the Bank Central Asia (BCA) Sustainability Report, linked articles/sites, and journal publications published by prior scholars. The analysis results demonstrate that the company's efforts are classified into six indicators: carbon emissions, green rewards, green building, reuse/recycle/refurbish, paper work or paperless, and green investment. BCA does this by offering a variety of ecologically friendly features that can help cut emissions. carbon. Carbon Emissions describes the company's attempts to lessen its carbon impact. This demonstrates that BCA has actively participated in and effectively implemented the Green Banking initiative. Keywords : Green Banking, Green Coin Rating, Sustainability.
