Abstract

This research aims to analyze Thailand's compliance to implement the ASEAN Convention Against Trafficking in Persons, Especially Women and Children as one of the efforts to combat human trafficking. In particular, this research is seen through 4 main pillars which are the key to the success of the convention, namely the 4Ps which contain Prevention, Protection, Prosecution, and Partnership. In this research, qualitative methods were used through primary data sources obtained from interviews as well as secondary data sources from several publications, namely, journals, books, news, and official publications managed by the relevant government. Therefore, the research results obtained show that Thailand is committed to eradicating human trafficking through ratification of the convention by making it a national agenda to be implemented by all parties without exception in maintaining the stability and security of the country through various prevention strategies, providing protection for victims, ensuring justice for victims by prosecute the perpetrators, and synergize coordination between institutions in the process.
