Abstract
The purpose of this research is to ascertain how sales growth, profitability, liquidity, and leverage affect financial distress. This research used 70 manufacturing companies with an observation period of 2019 to 2022 resulting in 280 research samples. Using the Stata 12.1 program, the panel data regression with Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach were used to test hypotheses. The findings of this research are as follows: (1)profitability has a significant negative influence on financial distress; (2)liquidity has a significant negative infulence on financial distress; (3)leverage has a significant positive influence on financial distress; and (4)sales growth has a significant negative influence on financial distress.
