Abstract
The solar system is one of the Basic Competencies (KD) in the latest curriculum used by grade VI students at SDN 06 Taluak IV Suku. In this material, students are invited to get to know the planets and the characteristics of each planet in the solar system. Therefore, teachers need to utilise interactive learning media because this material is difficult to find in everyday life. By using Augmented Reality (AR) technology, this research aims to create solar system flashcard learning media that can increase learning interactivity. The method used to design the Solar System Learning Media application is using the MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle) method using Unity Editor to build mobile-based applications, and Vuforia SDK as a platform for developing Augmented Reality technology. This application evelopment is designed to be used on Android and iOS devices. This application utilises marker-based and markerless tracking technology to display 3D models of planets in the solar system. By pointing the camera at the flashcard marker, users can see a 3D model of the planet along with detailed information. Each flashcard features an attractive image and brief information about each planet, providing an interactive learning experience for students. In addition, the app also features quizzes to make learning more interactive and as an evaluation tool.
