Abstract
This study aims to analyze and test the role of job satisfaction mediation in the functional positions of ASN PPPK lecturers at State X universities. The sample used in this study was lecturers totaling 161 respondents. The research data was obtained from the results of filling out questionnaires and analyzed using SEM analysis techniques with the help of the PLS SEM program. The results of this study show that (1) burnout has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) burnout has a positive and significant effect on commitment behavior; (3) commitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (4) workplace compensation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (5) compensation has a positive and significant effect on comtiment
