Abstract
Online motorcycle taxis are a relatively new job field, started becoming popular in Indonesia in 2016, and are growing over time. With the development of online motorcycle taxis, it is feared that the workers concerned will have health complaints related to the vibrations produced by motorbikes. This study aimed to analysed the relationship between age, years of service, duration of work, exposure to vibration, year of motorcycle production, and smoking habits with Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) in online motorcycle taxi drivers in Jakarta. This quantitative study used a cross-sectional design. There were 70 online motorcycle taxi drivers who were the respondents to this cross-sectional quantitative study, that used simple random sampling method. Variables that had a corelations with HAVS complaints, based on research conducted, are age (p-value = 0.011), motor vibration value (p-value = 0,019), year of motorcycle production (p-value = 0.027), and smoking habits (p-value = 0.018). Meanwhile, it had no correlations with years of service (p-value = 0.393) and duration of work (p-value = 0.132).
