Abstract
Vertical Wind Turbine is one of the options to get Wind Energy as a Renewable Energy, same with Solar Cell inside of a Solar Panel which are used to get Solar Energy from Sunlight. Both of these device can work on their own, but both have weaknesses such as Solar Panel cannot work optimally if the sky is cloudy and Wind Turbine if there are no wind to make the Turbine move. Because of that, Hybrid System was designed, which combines Wind Turbine and Solar Panel to cover for each other’s weaknesses so they can continue to generate electricity even when one of the devices are not working optimally. There are some variations which is the blade used is straight and a tail on the end of it with an angle of 30 degrees, have a diametre of 20 cm and height of 20 cm, also have 2 blades and 3 blades. Solar Panel is placed on an angle of 40 degrees. The voltage generated by the device when using 3 blades are bigger than when using 2 blades, with voltage generated using 3 blades can go up to 14.4V and when using 2 blades goes up to 13.8V.
