Abstract

The national development of a nation is influenced by the quality of its human resources. Education has an important role in shaping the quality of human resources. The government seeks to encourage vocational schools graduates to be able to compete in the era of globalization in order to reduce the unemployment rate. This effort is in line with the need for improvements in the vocational school education system in Indonesia. In this case, France plays an important role in being able to bring and help Indonesia progress further in the field of education regarding improving the quality of vocational education in Indonesia in 2019-2021. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research which is supported by the theory of international cooperation, the concept of human development and the concept of vocational education. The final results of this research will inform and show the efforts made during the collaboration process, so that the final results achieved from the establishment of bilateral cooperation involving Indonesia-France in the field of education produce results in reducing the existing unemployment rate and improving the sophisticated education system.
