Abstract
Indonesia is the most populous ASEAN country with 278.69 million people by mid-2023, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics. Therefore, Indonesia has abundant human resources. Human resource issues are often associated with labor productivity. Labor productivity is the participation of workers in creating added value through the process of producing goods or services, which can describe how the output produced by each worker in a certain year. East Kalimantan Province is the 2nd province with the highest productivity in Indonesia in 2022. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of education, health, and wages on labor productivity in East Kalimantan province. Education in this study uses Average Years of Schooling (RLS), health uses Life Expectancy (UHH) and wages use District / City Minimum Wage (UMK). The sample used is the district / city of East Kalimantan province with a range of years 2017 - 2022. The data in this study are secondary data obtained from BPS East Kalimantan. Hypothesis testing in this study using Panel Data Analysis using the Stata 17 program. Partial data results say education and health variables have a significant positive effect on labor productivity. While labor productivity have a significant negative effect on labor productivity. As well as simultaneously all existing variables jointly affect labor productivity.
