Abstract

One of the goals of the 2020-2024 National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) is to reduce the unemployment rate. One effort to reduce the TPT rate is to increase the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK). However in reality, there is still a gap between the number of women and men TPAK. Therefore, the aim of this quantitative research is to find out and analyze the factors that can influence the level of female labor force participation in 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2013-2022. The data in this research is secondary data obtained from the websites of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), KemenPPPA, and Worldbank. This research uses panel data regression analysis with the help of the Eviews10 tool and uses hypothesis testing with a significance basis of 0.05 or 5%. The results of this research show that the Fixed Effect model is the most appropriate model for regressing the data in this study with the results that the average number of years of schooling for women has a positive and significant influence on Women's TPAK in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the average female wage, female household heads, and per capita expenditure do not have a significant influence on women's TPAK in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the results of simultaneous testing show that the variables RLSP, RUP, KRTP, and PPK simultaneously influence women's TPAK in Indonesia.
