Abstract

Auditors need to work optimally to produce financial reports that comply with applicable accounting standards. This ensures that the public or users of auditing services receive reliable financial information. This research aims to investigate the influence of locus of control, role stress, emotional intelligence, and spiritual intelligence on auditor performance. The study employs a quantitative method, with auditors working in South Jakarta Public Accounting Firms (KAP Jakarta Selatan) as the sample, totaling 123 respondents. Data is processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 23 software. The results indicate that internal locus of control and spiritual intelligence have a positive impact on auditor performance, while role stress has a negative impact. External locus of control and emotional intelligence, on the other hand, do not significantly influence auditor performance.
