Abstract
This article analyzes the legal implications of workers' wage rights during company bankruptcy, as mandated by the Job Creation Law. The research adopts a normative legal approach, utilizing secondary data from various sources to investigate the issue. According to Article 95 of Law Number 6 of 2023, workers have priority rights to their wages in the event of a company's bankruptcy. However, the Bankruptcy Law still grants priority rights to separatist creditors when settling a debtor's assets. This creates a conflict between the two laws, resulting in inconsistency within the regulatory hierarchy. The conflicting provisions illustrate the differing scopes of the two laws, despite sharing the same hierarchy.
