Abstract

Objective One of the common causes of infant death is infectious diseases which can be prevented by immunization. The three behavioral domains, which are knowledge, attitudes, and actions, plays a big role in mothers to complete their child’s immun-ization status in order to fulfill immunization coverage by minimum 80%, referring to the Universal Child Immunization (UCI) standards. This research aims to de-termine the relationship between maternal knowledge, attitudes, and actions to-wards basic immunization and the basic immunization status of children at Perma-ta Depok Hospital in 2023. Method This research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. The research population was mothers of toddler patients at Permata Depok Hospital who visit-ed on the recruitment day and met the inclusion criteria using consecutive sam-pling technique. The sample size in this study was 52 participants. The Chi-Square statistical test was used in bivariate data analysis with a confidence level of 95% (α=5%). Result This research is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional approach. Conclusion However, the immunization coverage rate has not yet reached the UCI standard, which is only 59.6%. Therefore, there is a need for further improvement in immun-ization fulfillment efforts by both Permata Depok Hospital and the Depok City Health Office.
