Abstract

PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia is a newly established fintech investment company in Indonesia. The phenomenon of the growing fintech industry due to the increasing number of fintech users has forced PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia to be able to compete, including the quality of human resources to be able to make it happen. The purpose of this study is to analyze SWOT factors to formulate alternative human resource development strategies for PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia. The research approach using descriptive qualitative with 4 informants from PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia as primary data sources. Research data were collected by interview and observation methods, then the results of the interviews were transcribed using Nvivo 12. The results interview transcripts were used to identify IFAS, EFAS factors and produce an IE matrix. The value of the IE matrix occupies quadrant I with the coordinate point (2.52854:2.81129) which is the S-O strategy or called growth strategy. The results of the study show that the human resource development strategy that is suitable for PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia is: (1) Conducting soft skills & hard skills training in accordance with their respective fields of work; (2) Preparing the workforce of PT Wahed Investasi Indonesia to take certification in the capital market; and (3) Improving internal communication for future plans to create an HR department and HR guidelines.
