Abstract

This study focuses on what forms of law enforcement and legal protection are to protect and enforce justice for consumers or KSP members who have been harmed by KSP Management. This study aims to analyze how the implementation of criminal law enforcement against Savings and Loan Cooperatives based on the Consumer Protection Law, and to find out how the best steps are to optimize legal protection for customers who suffer losses due to failure to pay KSP to their members. The research used is normative juridical with literature study by analyzing and reviewing various sources such as legislation and other scientific studies. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of law enforcement both criminally and consumer protection is not optimal, and the need for optimizing legal protection for consumers who are harmed by improving the quality of regulations, officials, government to be even better, especially the need to reform law enforcement against business actors who do not have good intentions, and must take strict action against those who cause consumers to be harmed.
