Abstract

Pregnancy is the beginning of a bond. The bond as the beginning of the relationship is revealed with the first fetal movement, during which the mother falls in love with her baby. Reading Islamic stories is a form of communication between mothers and babies in the womb and is expected to build bonds between mothers and their babies. This analysis aims to determine the results of reading Islamic stories on the bond between pregnant women and babies in the womb. This analysis uses 2 respondents. The first respondent is a managed patient who was given intervention and the second respondent is a resume patient without intervention. The research was conducted by giving the Maternal Antenatal Attachment Scale (MAAS) questionnaire 2 times. The managed patients who were given the intervention read Islamic stories of the formation of bonds during the mother's interaction with the fetus so that pregnant women became more prepared in the role of being a parent, the role of being a parent could be achieved and also spiritual experiences in dealing with the fetus in the womb. The conclusion is that there is an increase in bonding after the intervention of reading Islamic stories to babies in the womb.
