Abstract
Background: Balance plays an important role in every sport, where fast movement with maximum balance is required. According to the results of the study, dynamic balance has no relationship with the risk of injury in volleyball players. Objective: This study was aimed at examining the relationship between dynamic balance and the risk of injury to volleyball players at the Jakarta Volleyball Club. The total sample of the study was 15 volleyball players who practiced volleyball regularly and came from the Jakarta Volleyball Club. Methods: The method used in this research design is a cross-sectional study method with a quantitative approach. The tools used to collect data are Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to determine the value of risk of injury and Y Balance Test to determine the value of dynamic balance. Data were collected through questionnaires in the form of offline observations. The statistical program used to evaluate the data is SPSS 25 and the Shapiro-Wilk test to test the normality of the data distribution.
