Abstract
Chronic kidney disease is a progressive decrease in renal function that can occur to anyone due to various factors. Decreased renal function to a certain degree requires fixed renal replacement therapy, in the form of dialysis or kidney transplantation. Complications caused by chronic kidney disease are anemia. Therefore, research regarding to relationship between hemodialysis with improved hemoglobin levels in chronic kidney disease patients is necessary. This study aims to find out the comparison of hemoglobin levels in chronic kidney disease patients pre and post hemodialysis at RSUD Budhi Asih Jakarta.The sample of this study was chronic kidney disease patients who undergo hemodialysis for the first time at RSUD Budhi Asih. This research uses observational analytical design with cross-sectional design. The study sample is medical record data of 47 samples. Paired T test results showed that there is a significant difference in hemoglobin levels between pre and post hemodialysis in chronic kidney disease patients (p value = 0.001). This research conclude that there is significant differences in hemoglobin levels pre and post hemodialysis in chronic kidney disease patients at RSUD Budhi Asih.
