Abstract
Positive cases of Covid-19 continue to increase in the world, including Indonesia, which requires the President to make a PP on Scaled Social Restrictions (PSBB). The Large-Scale Social Restriction Policy (PSBB) directly raises new problems for parents, especially mothers who work in the TVRI-Poris Complex, Pondok Melati District, Bekasi City, where the concept of learning from home directly provides a double burden where they have to assist children during the learning process and on the other hand have to do their work outside the home. The purpose of this research is to find out about the pattern of family communication in the process of mentoring children's learning, especially housewives & working mothers in the process of mentoring elementary school-aged children in the TVRI-PORIS Complex, Pondok Melati sub-district, Bekasi City during the Covid-19 pandemic and increase knowledge. New research on the study of family communication patterns. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research by conducting interviews with 1 key informant and 4 informants. The results of this study indicate that of the 7 patterns of family communication used, democratic communication patterns are the most frequently used by parents, especially working mothers and housewives in the TVRI-Poris Complex, Pondok Melati District, Bekasi City in the process of mentoring children's learning during their childhood.
