Abstract

Pak Yogi's tofu factory has 10 workers in which all of the workers in Pak Yogi's tofu factory carry out all its business processes from production to sales, most of which are done manually using human labor. This long work process has the potential to cause physical and mental workloads. Based on the results of distributing the Nordic Body Map questionnaire to all workers, there were several physical complaints experienced by workers. Based on these data, this study aims to determine the level of physical and mental workload experienced by Pak Yogi's tofu factory workers and to determine the length of rest time needed by workers. The method used in this research is the indirect method and NASA TLX. The results obtained from this study include the physical burden experienced by workers using the indirect method approach showing the CVL value for all workers is in the range of 30% - 60% so that improvements are needed, the current rest time is sufficient, namely 30 minutes, mental workload experienced by workers using the NASA TLX method approach shows values ranging from 50 to 80 (moderate workload) for 6 workers and <50 (light workload) for 4 workers.
