Abstract

Transportation services have decreased in terms of income due to restrictions on community activities due to the threat of Covid-19 infection, therefore as an effort to increase economic movement in the transportation sector, especially online�based transportation while still paying attention to health protocols, researchers created a barrier device with three functions. Namely to minimize direct contact, as a driver's seat and store food for online motorcycle taxi drivers in the hope of helping reduce the spread of Covid-19 and making online transportation drivers comfortable while driving. The results found during braking are safe with the consideration that the strength of the fork is correlated with the designed tires with the increase in mass during braking and after calculating the maximum load on the barrier partition device when the online motorcycle taxi driver leans on the tool made. So it can be concluded that this tool is safe because it complies with the standards set by the American Society of Mechanical Department of Defense.
