Abstract

Dyspepsia syndrome is a disorder that is often experienced by many people, especially adolescents because it is caused by an irregular eating pattern and having an improper lifestyle. The research instrument used was a google forms questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple logistic regression test (α = 0.05). The results of this study indicate the risk factors with dyspepsia syndrome, including gender (p value = 0.000; POR = 2.6), consumption of spicy food with the category rarely to frequent (p value = 0.004; POR = 0.4), consumption acidic foods (p value = 0.005 and p = 0.0012; POR = 0.4), consumption of risky drinks with the category rarely to frequent (p value = 0.006; POR = 0.4), and stressful conditions (p value = 0.000 ; POR = 4,5). The factors most at risk with dyspepsia syndrome are stress conditions. Adolescents are advised to reduce excessive consumption of risky drinks and regulate thoughts and feelings properly so that they are not prone to stress conditions.
