Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan terbanyak di dunia dan poros maritimnya memilliki posisi yang sangat strategis dan cukup baik dalam jalur pelayaran dunia saat ini. Hal ini membuat pentingnya kebutuhan akan transportasi laut semakin banyak, salah satu diantaranya adalah kapal tanker karena kapal ini memiliki nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Kapal tanker memiliki fungsi untuk mendistribusikan bahan bakar minyak ke berbagai wilayah di Indonesia khusunya pelabuhan di Indramayu dan Kepulauan Riau. Penelitian ini mengenai perancangan kapal Tanker 5500 DWT dengan rute pelayaran “Indramayu – Kepulauan Riau” yang dilengkapi dengan peralatan dan sistem keselamatan yang lengkap. Dalam melaksanakan penelitian ini dilakukan beberapa tahapan perancangan yaitu perhitungan ukuran utama, membuat rencana garis, rencana umum, analisa hidrostatik, analisa stabilitas dan analisis olah gerak kapal. Indonesia as the most archipelagic country in the world and its maritime axis has a very strategic and quite good position in the current world shipping lane. This makes the need for sea transportation more and more important, one of which is a tanker because this ship has high economic value. Tanker has a function to distribute fuel oil to various regions in Indonesia, especially ports in Indramayu and Riau Islands. This research is about the design of the 5500 DWT tanker with the shipping route "Indramayu - Riau Islands" which is equipped with complete equipment and safety systems. In carrying out this research, several design stages are carried out, namely the calculation of the main size, making line plans, general plans, hydrostatic analysis, stability analysis and ship motion analysis.
