Abstract
Melinjo fruit can be processed into various kinds of food, one of which is emping melinjo. The process of stripping the outer shell of the melinjo seeds is quite tiring if using the manual method. Therefore, for the stripping process can be done with an outer shell peeler melinjo seeds. In order for this melinjo seed outer peeler to be made it is necessary to carry out the machining process. Some machining processes must be carried out in order to be able to make an outer shell peeler melinjo seeds. In this final project the machining process uses tools that play an important role in the manufacture of melinjo seeds outer skin peeler. The results obtained are expected that students can understand the machining process for the manufacture of melinjo seeds outer skin peeler and determine the time and cost of each machining process in order to get a lower cost compared to prices sold on the market.
