Abstract

The waters of eastern Indonesia are one of the fish migration channels, so they have the potential to produce enough fish. The waters of the eastern region are indeed rich in various types of fish caught. The most caught and high economic value is tuna and cakalangan. One of the fishing areas included in Southeast Sulawesi waters is Kendari. This area is one of the fisheries development centers that have bright prospects in the utilization of marine fish resources. Kendari is one of the bases of capture fisheries in eastern Indonesia that faces the sea banda directly. The production of tuna and skipjack fisheries in kendari is quite large, this is because the fishing gear used is a fishing gear that is specifically for catching tuna and skipjack fish that is pole and line or commonly called huhate by the community. For this reason, pole and line ships are needed in an effort to increase the catch of tuna and skipjack marine fish resources which can then be utilized by the community around the waters so as to increase income and economic levels of the community. This design boat uses a pole and line or huhate fishing gear which is an environmentally friendly and easy to operate fishing gear. The ship will be operated to catch fish in the Banda sea waters, and carry out loading and unloading of fish catches at the Kendari sea fishing port.
