Abstract
Gastroenteritis is defined as inflammation of the mucous membranes of the digestive tract that arises in the presence of liquid bowel movements or diarrhea and vomiting. Diarrhea is defecation with consistency of liquid stool and frequency more than 3 to 4 times a day. Diarrhea is one of the endemic diseases with the highest mortality in children. For this reason, this case is interesting to dicuss because sanitation and community knowledge must be improved. The method used is descriptive method and literature study method with patient family interviews and comparing with trusted literature or journals. Results : manifestations arising in the case not all in accordance with the literature but in diagnosis almost enterily the same as a lot of literature, planning and implementation of nursing tailored to the conditions of the pantient’s condition and carried out nursing documentation in accordance with the case. Eith the same diagnosis and problems but the signs and symptoms of each patient is different according to the needs and conditions of the patient.
