Abstract
The city of Bekasi is one of the areas with fluctuating patterns of diarrhea cases among toddlers. From 2022 to 2024, the number of diarrhea cases was 6,528, 8,085, and 7,502, respectively. This study aims to identify the spatial distribution patterns of diarrhea cases among toddlers. The unit of analysis in this study is all toddler diarrhea cases across 12 subdistricts recorded by the Bekasi City Health Department. The study employs a spatial cross-sectional approach using secondary data sourced from the Bekasi City Health Department (2024), the Bekasi City Central Statistics Agency, and Google Maps. Analysis was conducted using QGIS software for spatial visualization and GeoDa to perform Global Moran’s I and Local Moran’s I analyses. Global Moran’s I was used to assess the distribution patterns of diarrhea cases among toddlers at the city level, while Local Moran’s I (LISA) was used to identify distribution patterns and their interrelationships across subdistricts. The overlay technique was used to combine two or more spatial data layers to generate new information. This study aims to identify the spatial patterns of diarrhea cases among toddlers.
