Abstract

Puskesmas Depok Utara recorded the highest number of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) cases in Beji District, with 218 cases and 2 deaths in 2024. This study aimed to determine the prevalence distribution and spatial patterns of DHF based on age, sex, population density, House Index (HI), and Larvae-Free Index (ABJ) in the working area of Puskesmas Depok Utara, Depok City, during 2024–2025. This study employed a descriptive observational design with a spatial cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of the total population of 456 DHF cases. Spatial analysis used Overlay, Nearest Neighbor Analysis, Kernel Density, and Buffer techniques. The results showed a clustered distribution pattern, with cases concentrated in RW (neighborhood units) with moderate population density, a House Index (HI) of <5%, a Larvae-Free Index (ABJ) of ≥95%, a relatively balanced sex distribution, and across all age groups. In 2025, RW 02, RW 04, and RW 15 were identified as priority areas with very high case density. These findings highlight the need for spatially targeted DHF prevention and control interventions by prioritizing hotspot areas, at-risk age groups, and areas with substandard entomological indicators.
