Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven digital innovations in online commerce, including the creation of e-commerce systems. This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-commerce system focused on preloved fashion sales as a medium to empower young entrepreneurs in DKI Jakarta. The research methods include observation, interviews, and literature studies to gather system requirement data. The analysis employs the PIECES Framework to identify problems in the existing system and formulate an improved system design. The system development follows the Waterfall model and an object- oriented approach using UML diagrams (Use Case, Activity, Class, and Sequence) and ERD (Entity Relationship Diagram). The implementation utilizes the Laravel Framework for the backend and ReactJS for the frontend. The resulting system provides key features such as User registration and Login, product management for penjuals, purchase transactions for buyers, an integrated payment system, and an Ordertracking feature for shipment monitoring. Testing with the Black Box method shows that all system functions operate as intended. This e-commerce system is expected to improve transaction efficiency, expand market reach, and support the empowerment of young entrepreneurs in the digital economy.
