Abstract
The development of Islamic banking industry in Indonesia has shown significant progress and growth, marked by an increase in bank assets. This indicates that Islamic banking has strong financial performance, however profitability level as measured by Return on Assets (ROA), still showed fluctuations across certain periods. This suggests that bank profitability is not always stable and can be influenced by various factors, both internal and external. Internal factors that suspected of affecting bank profitability are third party funds as source of funding, financing as a function of fund distribution, and NPF as an indicator of financing risk. This study aims to analyze the influence of Third Party Funds (TPF), financing, and Non Performing Financing (NPF) on profitability, as measured by ROA at Bank Syariah Indonesia. The approach used is a quantitative method with data collected from the official websites of Bank Syariah Indonesia. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS and Microsoft Excel software. The result of this study are TDF and financing do not have a significant effect on ROA. Meanwhile, the NPF variable has a significant negative effect on ROA. Simultaneously, TDF, financing, and NPF collectively have a significant impact on Bank Syariah Indonesia’s ROA. These result indicate that profitability is influenced by the interaction between funding, fund distribution, and the level of financing risk.
