Abstract

The development of the fashion industry in Indonesia is currently undergoing a paradigm shift toward sustainability principles. Nevertheless, the adoption of slow fashion, which is a clothing production approach that prioritizes product durability and environmental ethics, still faces challenges from dynamic consumer shopping behaviors driven by short term trends. This study aims to analyze the purchase intention of halal slow fashion products as the main research object among the Muslim consumer demographic in the Jabodetabek region, by examining the influence of social media utilization, halal awareness levels, and lifestyle orientation. This study employed a quantitative approach using a purposive sampling technique involving 160 respondents. The primary data collected was analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling method via SmartPLS software. Empirical results demonstrate that social media, halal awareness, and lifestyle exert a positive and significant influence on purchase intention. Specifically, social media was found to be the most dominant determining factor in shaping consumer decisions. The conclusion of this study confirms that social media, halal awareness, and lifestyle are key elements capable of directly increasing the purchase intention of halal slow fashion products while supporting syar'i dressing habits in the Jabodetabek region.
