Abstract
Diabetes mellitus continues to have an increasing prevalence. Indonesia ranks among the top five countries with the highest number of diabetes patients in the world, with approximately 19.5 million cases, where unstable blood glucose levels frequently cause acute and chronic complications. Diabetic foot exercise can help control blood glucose levels. To analyze the implementation of diabetic foot exercise for unstable blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus at RSU Tangerang Selatan. The methods is a descriptive case study with a comprehensive nursing care approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, physical examination, and medical documentation. Diabetic foot exercise was implemented for 10-20 minutes per day over three consecutive days. The study demonstrated consistent reduction in blood glucose levels. Measurements showed a decrease from 289 mg/dL to 283 mg/dL on the first day, from 310 mg/dL to 306 mg/dL on the second day, and from 220 mg/dL to 211 mg/dL on the third day, accompanied by reduced complaints of stiffness and tingling in the lower extremities. Implementation of diabetic foot exercise over three consecutive days is effective in reducing blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus. This intervention is recommended as supportive therapy in diabetes management to improve glycemic control and prevent further complications.
