Abstract

This research aims to develop an Excel VBA-Based Invoicing Administration System to automate the process of importing transaction data into the Coretax schema for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The implementation of the Coretax system by the Directorate General of Taxes has brought significant changes by mandating an Extensible Markup Language (XML)-based data format. However, limited technological understanding and the subscription costs of commercial applications remain the primary obstacles for MSMEs in meeting this new standardization. As a solution to these issues, the TAXIVO application was designed utilizing the Microsoft Excel platform with a Binary Workbook (.xlsb) format and Macro VBA programming. The evaluation method used in this study was Black Box Testing to examine the functionality of all system features. Based on the testing results, the TAXIVO application successfully functions according to requirements in managing tax administration processes offline. The system successfully integrates the sales database, executes automatic validation on the 16-digit NPWP (Taxpayer Identification Number) structure, and instantly transforms all transaction data records into a valid XML schema format in accordance with tax authority standards without requiring any additional costs.
