Abstract
This final project examines the evaluation of challenges in migrating from Accurate Desktop to Accurate Online to improve the quality of financial statement preparation at KMNC Group. This study is driven by the company’s need for an accounting system that is more flexible, integrated, and able to support financial reporting processes more efficiently. The purpose of this study is to identify the obstacles that occurred during the system migration process, analyze their impact on financial statement preparation, and describe the company’s efforts to adjust data and adapt to the new system. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collected through observations and interviews with KMNC Group parties involved in the migration process. The results show that the main challenges include data discrepancies after system transfer, balance differences, user adaptation to Accurate Online features, and the need to recheck Accurate Desktop when entering certain transactions. These challenges affected the efficiency and accuracy of financial statement preparation. However, after the data were adjusted based on post-audit data and users began to understand the Accurate Online workflow, the financial statement preparation process became easier, more flexible, and more optimal.
