Abstract
This study aims to review the equitable distribution of recipients of the Jakarta Outstanding Student Card Program (Kartu Jakarta Mahasiswa Unggul/KJMU) among students of the D3 Banking and Finance Study Program from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts, as well as to examine the role of Bank DKI in the fund disbursement process. The background of this study is based on the importance of equal access to education for students from underprivileged families and the existence of potential economic disparities that may affect the fairness of aid distribution. The study employs a descriptive approach, with data collected through questionnaires and interviews involving KJMU recipient students and representatives of Bank DKI. The findings indicate that although the KJMU program has been implemented, variations in aid distribution still exist and have not been entirely equitable among students with different economic conditions. Furthermore, Bank DKI has generally carried out its fund disbursement function effectively; however, several technical challenges remain, including complex administrative procedures and delays in fund disbursement experienced by students. The study concludes that an evaluation of the KJMU recipient selection mechanism is necessary to ensure that assistance is distributed more accurately and reaches the intended beneficiaries. Additionally, improvements in service efficiency and educational outreach by Bank DKI are needed to minimize future obstacles in the disbursement process.
