Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector is a cornerstone of the national economy that frequently encounters structural obstacles, such as financing gaps and reluctance toward conventional banking due to religious factors. The purpose of this Final Project is to analyze the effectiveness, distribution mechanisms, and trends in the allocation of Sharia People's Business Credit (KUR Syariah), as well as its impact on the business growth of MSMEs. This study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach, centering on PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) as the primary subject of observation. Primary data were gathered through structured questionnaires distributed to 31 beneficiaries of BSI's KUR, which was predominantly dominated by the culinary sector (71%), complemented by literature reviews and official banking reports. The descriptive analysis using percentage calculations and mean values indicates that the Sharia financing program at BSI has overall demonstrated a Highly Effective performance, as reflected by an overall combined mean score of 4.37. On the operational dimension, the highest level of effectiveness was shown by the indicator of reasonable and attainable document requirements (mean of 4.65). In terms of product characteristics, sharia compliance (interest-free) became the most powerful determinant that provides a sense of spiritual peace for customers in paying installments (mean of 4.74). This capital intervention is proven to provide a real impact on customers' business performance through the expansion of goods inventory or assets (mean of 4.52) as well as an increase in sales volume/turnover (mean of 4.52). Nonetheless, the product socialization aspect recorded the lowest score (mean of 3.97), indicating the urgent need to increase the intensity of public education. In general, the KUR Syariah program at BSI has successfully transformed from a mere business survival tool into a growth engine capable of enhancing the financial resilience of MSMEs sustainably. These insights are expected to serve as an evaluation tool for banking management to optimize bureaucratic efficiency, expand the reach of socialization, and strengthen financial assistance strategies for business actors.
