Abstract
The Standard Inpatient Class (KRIS) policy is a government effort to improve the equity and quality of inpatient services in hospitals. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the KRIS policy on inpatient satisfaction. The study used an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was inpatients in the hospital in the KRIS treatment room, with a sample of 163 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire to measure patient satisfaction based on service quality dimensions and 12 standard inpatient class criteria based on Presidential Regulation number 59 of 2024. The research method used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with the Chi-Square test, and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that there were six KRIS standard components that had the most significant effect on inpatient satisfaction after being controlled by other variables, namely air ventilation, availability of bedside tables, maximum number of beds per room of 4 beds, bathrooms located in the treatment room, bed equipment such as Nursecall, power outlets, etc., and bathrooms that met accessibility standards with each odd ratio value of 3,304, 2,978, 2,692, 2,539, 2,355, and 0.378. And the p (value) was 0.003, 0.007, 0.020, 0.029, 0.030, and 0.48, respectively. These findings indicate that the implementation of the new KRIS standard components contributed significantly to influencing inpatient satisfaction. The conclusion of this study confirms that the successful implementation of the KRIS policy does not only depend on administrative implementation, but also on the fulfillment of standard components that are directly felt by patients. Therefore, hospitals need to ensure compliance and continuous monitoring of KRIS standard components that have a significant impact on improving service quality and patient satisfaction.
