Abstract

This study uses a qualitative-descriptive method, collecting data through literature review by gathering various information, reports, news, scientific papers, and journals related to the topic under study. The theory used in this study is the theory of International Organizations by Clive Archer and A. Leroy. Bennet, which focuses on the role of International Organizations as instruments, arenas, and actors in carrying out their duties. In addition, this study uses the concept of Sustainable Development Goals as an umbrella value for interventions by International Organizations. This study found that there is a water crisis in Nigeria. External factors include global warming caused by climate change, which has led to a gradual depletion of water sources, and poor management has further exacerbated the situation. Internal factors include human activity, increasing urbanization trends in line with Nigeria's growing population, weak water management, and forced migration due to prolonged conflict. Therefore, the Nigerian government is consciously making various efforts to address these issues through various actions and also striving to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as obtaining full support and guidance from UNICEF as an international organization that fights for the rights and safety of children in Nigeria
