Abstract
Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that requires high adherence during long-term treatment. Adherence to anti-tuberculosis medication (OAT) is influenced by psychological and social factors, particularly resilience and family support. This study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and family support with adherence to anti-tuberculosis medication (OAT) in tuberculosis patients at the Bekasi City Regional General Hospital. This study used a correlational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The study sample consisted of 163 respondents selected using purposive sampling with the Slovin formula. Data were collected using resilience and family support questionnaires and the MMAS-8 questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using the chi-square test, which showed a significant relationship between resilience and adherence to anti-tuberculosis medication (OAT) (p-value 0.026<0.05) and family support and adherence to anti-tuberculosis medication (OAT) (p-value <0.01<0.05). High resilience and family support contributed to the adherence of tuberculosis patients to treatment. Thus, psychological and social factors play an important role in promoting the recovery of tuberculosis patients.
