Abstract
This study examines the branding strategy of the Directorate General of Plantations through Instagram social media. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through literature review, observation, and interviews with informants. The results of this study indicate that the Directorate General of Plantations has successfully utilized Instagram social media through content featuring farmers' success stories, plantation programs, and plantation activities to increase transparency. There are three content segments used by the Directorate General of Plantations on Instagram, namely InspiraBun, Kuper, and the education segment, to increase audience engagement and provide education related to the plantation sector. Based on this study, challenges were still found in the form of a lengthy content approval process, which resulted in delays in publication.
