Abstract
Fruit juice SMEs still face challenges in the filling process, which is generally carried out manually, leading to risks of volume inaccuracy, low hygiene, material waste, and slow production rates. This study aims to design and fabricate an automatic filler machine that is affordable, efficient, and tailored to the needs of SMEs in order to improve product quality and consistency. The results show that the best design is Design-1, equipped with three nozzles capable of filling bottles faster and with higher precision. The developed prototype has an average production capacity of 14 bottles per minute with a filling volume of approximately 250 ml and an average filling time of about 13 seconds per bottle. Testing demonstrated that the machine operates stably within a ±5 ml tolerance range, with relatively low production costs, making it affordable for small-scale businesses. In conclusion, the filler machine can enhance efficiency, ensure product standardization, and strengthen the competitiveness of fruit juice SMEs in the market.
