Abstract
Resting heart rate is an important indicator of cardiovascular condition and a predictor of heart disease risk. Body composition, particularly fat-free mass and fat mass, is thought to influence the values in resting heart rate. This study aimed to examine the relationship between fat-free mass and fat mass with resting heart rate among medical students at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta in 2025.
