Abstract
The increase in cases of violence in Indonesia has made the need for Visum et Repertum (VeR) even higher. However, many hospitals, including RSUD KiSA Kota Depok, lack forensic services, so VeR is often performed by general practitioners, despite certain limitations in competence and legal rules. Therefore, this study was conducted to assess the quality of VeR injuries and the suitability of the authority of general practitioners in making them at RSUD KiSA Kota Depok in 2024–2025. This study employed two types of research instruments to collect primary data: the modification of the scoring system developed by Prof. Herkutanto, Prof. Muller, Prof. Mas Sutejo, and Prof. Sutomo, and the correspondence analysis of the Visum et Repertum request procedure used by RSUD KiSA Kota Depok. In addition, the study also utilizes secondary data in the form of VeR documents as supporting data. This study uses a descriptive observational method with a retrospective approach. The descriptive test showed that the quality of VeR injuries in live victims at RSUD KiSA Kota Depok for the period of January 2024 – August 2025 was in the medium category (61.68%). The opening, introduction, and closing sections show good quality, while the news and conclusion sections are in the medium category. The quality of VeR in January 2024 – August 2025 at RSUD KiSA Kota Depok was of medium quality of 61.68% caused by incompleteness in the manufacture of VeR. However, the suitability of the SPO obtained a score of 100%, which means that all general practitioners who wrote the VeR injury at RSUD KiSA Kota Depok in January 2024 – August 2025 have appropriately applied the authority in making VeR.
