Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR), Poverty Rate, and Open Unemployment Rate on Economic Growth in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province during the period 2013–2023. NTT's economy still faces various challenges such as unequal contributions to GRDP, high poverty rates, and significant unemployment levels. This research adopts a quantitative approach using panel data regression involving 22 regencies/cities in NTT as units of analysis. The secondary data were sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The findings reveal that LFPR positively affects economic growth, while poverty and open unemployment rates have a significant negative impact. These results underscore the importance of improving labor force quality, reducing poverty, and creating employment opportunities as key strategies to promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth in East Nusa Tenggara.
