Abstract
Body fat percentage is an important indicator in determining an individual's nutritional status. This study aims to analyze the relationship between physical activity, screen time, sleep duration, and nutritional status with body fat percentage among students of the Nutrition Study Program at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. This research used a cross-sectional design involving 171 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and direct measurements using Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA). The results showed that most students had a normal body fat percentage, not light physical activity, not long screen time, short sleep duration, and normal nutritional status. Bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test indicated no significant relationship between physical activity (p= 0.572, r= -0,029), screen time (p= 0.828, r= -0,027), and sleep duration (p= 0.534, r= -0,083) with body fat percentage. However, there was a significant relationship between nutritional status and body fat percentage (p=0.000, r= 0,612). This study concludes that physical activity, screen time, and sleep duration are not associated and have a negative correlation with body fat percentage, while nutritional status has a significant relationship with a positive correlation. Educational efforts promoting healthy lifestyles are necessary to prevent the risk of excessive body fat accumulation.
