Abstract
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Poverty Gap Index (P1), Human Development Index (HDI), and Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) on the growth of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Java Island. A quantitative approach was employed using panel data regression analysis. The sample consists of six provinces in Java Island over the period 2012 to 2024. Data processing was conducted using Stata 17. The results indicate that the Poverty Gap Index has a significant negative effect on GRDP growth, the Human Development Index has no significant effect, while the Labor Force Participation Rate has a significant positive effect on GRDP growth. Simultaneously, the three independent variables were found to have a statistically significant joint effect on GRDP growth in Java. These findings suggest that poverty depth and labor market participation are critical factors influencing regional economic growth.
