Abstract
Banten Province ranks second in fiscal decentralization on the island of Java, after DKI Jakarta. However, the economic growth rate in this region is still relatively low. Another challenge faced is the disparity in access to information technology and education participation levels across regions, which also affects the equitable distribution of economic growth. This study aims to examine the impact of fiscal decentralization, technological development, and education levels on economic growth in Banten Province. The data used covers eight districts/cities from 2014 to 2023, sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK). The analysis was conducted using panel data regression methods. The findings of this study indicate that fiscal decentralization, technology, and education have a positive and significant impact on economic growth. These findings highlight that strengthening fiscal independence, equalizing internet access, and improving education participation can serve as key strategies to support sustainable economic growth in Banten Province.
