Abstract
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are one of the most common types of occupational diseases experienced by workers in the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector, particularly in processing industries such as tofu factories. This study aims to evaluate the level of physical complaints reported by workers and to identify potential ergonomic risks based on the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 9011:2021. The research was conducted at Tofu Factory X, located in East Jakarta, using a quantitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through direct observation, distribution of MSD questionnaires, documentation of work activities, and identification of potential ergonomic hazards using a checklist. Work posture simulations were carried out using Siemens Jack software, and the results were analyzed using the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and the Ovako Working Posture Analysis System (OWAS) to ensure compliance with established standards. The analysis revealed that the most frequently reported complaints occurred in the lower back, upper back, and hips. Based on these findings, the study recommends implementing improvements in work posture and utilizing assistive tools to reduce ergonomic risk levels and enhance occupational safety and health in similar industrial sectors.
