Abstract
The research aims to understand the implementation of the SPX Express expedition’s delivery process and to understand the legal responsibility of the expedition service company related to the loss of consumer goods. The research approach used is a normative research method (normative juridical), which looks at the source of library materials or secondary data. Secondary data in the form of primary legal materials and secondary legal sources. Primary legal materials are derived from various laws and regulations, while secondary legal materials are derived from expert opinions or legal analysis obtained in books, journals, news, and others. Research results suggest that the implementation of the delivery process on SPX Express expedition services must meet aspects of safety, delivery timeliness, and customer satisfaction. The form of responsibility that expeditionary service companies can provide for the loss of consumer goods is to provide compensation to consumers. In some cases, SPX Express expedition services have not carried out their responsibilities as expeditionary service business operators properly.
