Abstract
This study designs and develops an Android-based attendance application for PT Wira Inti Mulya to overcome limitations of manual systems by employing face recognition verification and location tracking. The Waterfall model guides the project through requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance phases. Built in Android Studio, the app integrates TensorFlow Lite for on-device face recognition and Google Maps API for geofencing. Employee and attendance records are managed via a local database and Firebase. Functional testing confirms that all features meet specifications, while accuracy tests demonstrate a high verification success rate under varied lighting and facial angles. These results indicate that the application effectively enhances the reliability and efficiency of the attendance process.
